The 2019 NCBCA Coaches vs. Cancer Shoot is the 6th annual event on behalf of High School Basketball Coaches and high school student athletes from across the state of North Carolina. The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association along with Coaches vs. Cancer and the American Cancer Society are teaming up to bring the excitement of the NCAA Coaches vs. Cancer games to the High School level.  READ MORE

One of the highlights of the 2013-2014 season for the East Rutherford Caviler Men’s Basketball Team was playing in the inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout in Asheville. When the NCBCA and Enka’s Head Coach, Brian Carver, came to me and asked me to play in the shootout, I was not only thrilled to participate in the games, but my team had the opportunity to raise money to help find a cure for cancer. The entire weekend of the Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout was a wonderful idea and a huge success.
